Ver-Tack Tackifier shall provide effective binding of Verdyol Hydraulic Growth Mediums for erosion control and soil stabilization on mild slope gradients and mild erosive conditions.

Ver-Tack Tackifier is formulated from ammonium lignosulfonate which is derived from lignin, a natural polymer found in wood that works like glue to hold together the cellulose fibers of pulp. When pulp is processed the lignin is separated from the wood and undergoes an extensive process and eventually becomes an ammonium or sodium-based lignosulfonate. Extensive studies have been conducted by various organizations to evaluate the effects of lignosulfonates on the environment. The results from these studies indicate that lignosulfonates are not harmful to plants, animals or aquatic life when properly manufactured and applied. Lignosulfonates have been used as a treatment for dust control on dirt roads in Europe and the US since the 1920's. Toxic levels of lignosulfonates in surface water have been established and confirm that concentrations must be relatively high before fish and other organisms are affected.

Ver-Tack Tackifier provides effective adhesion of mulch to the soil surface.

Ver-Tack Tackifier should be applied during dry conditions and requires a 6 hour cure time prior to rain events to ensure proper adhesion.

Ver-Tack Tackifier provides effective erosion control in applications where vegetation establishment may require up to 3 months.

Ver-Tack Tackifier is a dark brown liquid that shall be prepackaged in easy to use, clear, resealable plastic containers with quick pour spouts to reduce the chance for spillage on the job site.
