Does it Shoot?

You need products that flow through your machines, products that shoot. We’ve developed the first straw based fiber that flows, shoots and lays just like wood. Our fiber processor changes the moisture holding capabilities of wheat straw enabling it to hold more water thus letting it flow through a hydro seeder. Sound too good to be true? It’s not. Here are some tests we’ve done to show you how well it works.

We took 50 grams of Verdyol Hydro Gold and 50 grams of a competing wood fiber and placed them both in water. We left them in the tanks for ten minutes then took them out and placed them on a drying rack for an additional ten minutes. Hydro Gold held about 10 times it’s weight in water wood fiber held about 11 and recycled paper about 12 times. Unprocessed straw held 2 times it’s weight in water.

In another test we took a Finn T60 and loaded it with 300 pounds of Hydro Gold in a tank that usually only holds 200 pounds of wood mulch. Even with 50% more fiber in the tank we were able to shoot successfully without a problem. We shot half the load then stopped the machine, opened the nozzle and feed pipe to the pump and let the water drain for ten minutes. After re-hooking the feed pipe we continued spraying the Hydro Gold without any plugs or problems.

Still not convinced? Check out this one. We took a tiny Gossen 200 gallon jet agitated hydro seeder and filled it with 100 pounds of Hydro Gold. With very little effort even the smallest hydro seeder on the market was able to shoot this revolutionary fiber. ED Lange form National Hydro seeding said “I like straw cause I get better germination especially in hotter weather.” While another, Chris Castellano from CDI in Colorado said, “this covers like wood fiber.”

With more mulch and growth medium per load, great coverage and shoot ability this spray on material will not disappoint going through your machine.
